The Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS) is the European Commission's primary source of results from the projects funded by the EU's framework programmes for research and innovation (FP1 to Horizon 2020).

The mission of CORDIS is to bring research results to professionals in the field to foster open science, create innovative products and services and stimulate growth across Europe. Use the Data base to see what research themes have been supported by  the framework programmes in areas of interest to your group.

Operation Wallacea

" Alfred Russel Wallace marveled at the "adaptation of animals to their food, their habits, and the localities in which they are found". Projects of the Trust embody Wallace’s beliefs and strive not only to preserve these species and habitats, but also to work with the people for whom his localities are home.

Operation Wallacea (Opwall) is a conservation research organisation that is funded by, and relies on, teams of student volunteers who join expeditions for the opportunity to work on real-world research programs alongside academic researchers. Large teams of ecologists, scientists, academics and postgraduate researchers who are specialists in various aspects of biodiversity or social and economic studies are concentrated at the target study sites. This gives volunteers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects alongside field specialists.
